So here’s the new Lift Rite Ltd website: https://liftrite.ie/

We wish Mark and the team at Lift Rite Ltd all the best with their new website and every success in their business.

How seriously do you take website security?

At Blueberry we are always looking at ways to improve our own website security – we have SSL installed (encrytped messaging and a https domain), Wordfence and McAfee. And this is why …..

Your website is your brand, your public image, and often your first contact with customers. If it’s not safe and secure, those critical business relationships can be compromised. And the threats can come in many forms , e.g. infecting a website with malware in order to spread that malware to site visitors, stealing customer information (i.e. names and email addresses), stealing credit card and other transaction information, adding the website to a botnet of infected sites, and even hijacking or crashing the site.

A single security breach could be the show-stopper for a small business.

Even if a security breach at a small business website doesn’t trigger a data breach, it can still have a huge impact on customer trust if customers find out about it.

An unprotected website is a security risk to customers, other businesses, and public/government sites. It allows for the spread and escalation of malware, attacks on other websites, and even attacks against national targets and infrastructure.

Consumers are nervous about the security risks of the internet, particularly identity theft. The more a small business can do to build trust in the security of their website, the more likely customers are to visit, stay, buy, return, and recommend.

And hacking is not just about stealing data. Hackers want to create watering holes where they can hide malware as a way to spread the malware to any visitors to that site.

But don’t worry! Help is at hand…

To start you need to manage your passwords carefully, especially website access;  keep all computers and mobile devices free from malware so they’re not used as a launchpad for a website attack.

After that, talk to Alan and Sue about what products we recommend and can offer on your website:  041 986 5686.

Pension Freedom new website

This week saw the launch of a new brochure-style website for Pension Freedom.

Blueberry was asked to update an existing website. This new website was created to provide key information to potential clients with clear calls to action, video added (on inner page) to simplify and explain the process and the key company philosophy, and links to various business and personal assessments which are not time-consuming and capture data on behalf of our client.

In an industry that is traditionally viewed as bland and boring we wanted to create a “fun” and impactful front page. To do this we have used updated imagery, parallax design, clear navigation, and added further colour through the addition of a blog and themed sections. And of course the new site is GDPR-compliant.

Let us know what you think: https://pensionfreedom.ie/

We wish Gerard and the team all the best now and into the future.

New website for Spoonful Botanical

Spoonful Botanical is a start-up company who got the idea to develop their unique, joint relief product whilst travelling around Asia. The product is a 100% natural botanical blend of the highest quality herbs and spices sourced from specialist suppliers around the world, combined with fermented fruits and grains – just one spoonful daily can provide everyday joint relief. Although only one product currently exists in a single and 3 pack format, the company plan to develop this further and to extend their range and reach beyond Ireland.

We designed and built a new modern, customised website, focusing on the story and natural origins of the company and product, with a custom built online shop using the Woo Commerce e-commerce platform. The client has full control and can manage the site content including e-commerce (products & categories), page content, blog (news), Testimonials, SEO, email marketing and customer database.

New website for ROGD

ROGD (Originally Rip Offs and Good Deals) started life as a home-based Facebook business posting current offers and deals from retailers and service providers to consumers in the local County Louth and Leinster region.  As the followers grew (over 200,000 now!) and the network developed, the ROGD business needed another platform to continue providing an efficient information service to their followers, “commercialise” business partnerships with like-minded local and national businesses and capitalise on their large network of followers.

We designed and developed a website which engages with the target audience, makes it easy for ROGD to promote various suppliers and partners, and makes it easy for consumers to find deals or offers that interest them most. The site was made fully editable so ROGD could change banners, images, add and remove offers easily, highlight certain offers and update details at any time.
